Terms of use

What Ohana is

Ohana is an iPhone app that brings together a family's calendar, tasks, groceries and money. It is in development and not published yet: its features may change, and some may never arrive.

How you can use it

For personal and family use, not commercial. Once it is on the App Store, Apple's standard license agreement also applies. You can stop using it whenever you want.

Your content

What you note in Ohana is yours. You are responsible for it being lawful and for having the permission of the people whose data you note. If you manage a minor's profile, you do so as the responsible adult.

Appropriate use

Don't use Ohana for anything illegal, and don't try to copy it, decompile it or interfere with how it works.

Important notices

  • Finances is an organizing tool. It is not financial or accounting advice, it doesn't move money and it doesn't connect to your bank. Balances and splits are only as accurate as what is noted.
  • The assistant and suggestions can be wrong. Always review before confirming.
  • Alerts are not infallible. Don't rely only on Ohana for critical appointments or deadlines.
  • Your data is on your device. If you lose your iPhone or uninstall the app, you could lose it. Keep iPhone backups.
  • Ohana is not a health or emergency service.

Availability

While it is in development, Ohana is offered as is, with no guarantee that it will work without interruptions or errors.

Intellectual property

Ohana, its logo, texts, illustrations and design belong to their owners. iPhone, Apple Pay, iCloud, Siri and Face ID are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of Ohana. This does not limit the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of España. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights your country of residence's law gives you.
